Hendricks (6-1, 7-0) won two games as well to push their winning streak to seven games, which leads the league in 8th grade. Lakeside (4-2, 5-1) and South Forsyth had a perfect week, sweeping their 7th and 8th grade games.
In 7th grade, Hendricks and Riverwatch (6-1, 1-6) dropped their first games on Thursday (vs Vickery Creek and South Forsyth, respectively). The losses cost the teams their place at the top of the standings. Lakeside and Vickery Creek (4-2, 2-4) moved into a tie for fourth after three combined wins by the teams in Week 4.
In 8th grade, North Forsyth (3-3, 5-1) fell to Lakeside on Thursday for their first loss of the season as well, which dropped the Wildcats into a tie for third place with the Lions. The top four in the standings have one loss or less heading into the stretch run of the season.

Lakeside (30.0 OPPG) stands in second place for points allowed in 8th grade.
Three teams (HMS, RMS, and SFMS) remain within one game of each other in the standings. There is just one gameday next week, on Tuesday, as the schools head into Christmas/New Year's break. Vickery Creek plays at South Forsyth in the week's biggest game. Riverwatch has their bye date.
Four teams (HMS, SFMS, LSMS, and NFMS) are within on and a half games. North Forsyth plays at Hendricks on Tuesday in the week's marque game. Piney Grove travels to Lakeside in a sneaky good matchup which could have a bearing on the standings as the season moves to its conclusion after the upcoming break.
