After the teams began the season with a "non-divisional" week, this week signals the beginning of the "divisional" schedule for ten teams. For teams without a bye in the next four week stretch, there will be four straight weeks of divisional games ahead.
Lakeside starts the year with two straight games against playoff teams from last year. After a narrow win over North Forsyth last Tuesday, the Lions now face off versus division rival South Forsyth at South Forsyth High School. The Eagles knocked off Vickery Creek last week so the winner of this game will have a leg up in the East Division.
Liberty kicks off their 2024 campaign, hosting Hendricks. Liberty was a playoff team last season and will look to get their West Division schedule started off with a win. Hendricks will look to build on their victory over Riverwatch in Week 1.
DeSana and Little Mill will try to start their seasons 2-0, while the other four teams in action this week are aiming not to start 0-2.
All five games this week kick off at 6:30 PM. The forecast for Tuesday looks even better than it did last week. The temperatures will be down slightly from where they have been, starting in the low 80s and ending in the mid to low 70s. There is a 0% chance of rain all evening.
