Another week and another unbeaten falls as North Forsyth (2-1) solidified their spot atop the West Division standings with their win over Liberty (1-1), 34-12. The Wildcats are now tied with Little Mill (3-0) who remained unbeaten with their dominating 40-0 win over Otwell (0-3).
For the second week in a row, there were three shutouts in the five games played. South Forsyth (2-1) had the most lopsided win of the week, 42-0 over Piney Grove (1-2). The Eagles continued their strong offensive performance to start the year which has seen them average just over 40 points a game.
The other shutout of the week came from Riverwatch (1-1) who knocked off DeSana (1-2), 31-0. The Panthers struggled in their Week 1 game versus Hendricks but came out strong after their bye week to get their first win of the season.
In other action, Hendricks (2-1) bounced back from their defeat to Liberty in Week 2, taking down Vickery Creek (0-3) 36-6. Hendricks and Liberty are tied for third place in the West Division with 1-1 division records.
Lakeside was off in Week 3. With Piney Grove's loss, the Lions held onto the top spot in the East Division. They are now tied for first with Riverwatch at 1-0 in the division.
