2024 Forsyth County Middle School Football

Just four games were on the Week 7 schedule as four teams had a bye week. Those four teams (Hendricks, Little Mill, North Forsyth, and Otwell) had somewhat of a "super bye" getting two weeks off combined with Fall Break the week before. The 2024 football regular season is winding down and just one postseason spot is still up for grabs. With one week left, here is a look at the playoff picture.

Lakeside (6-0, #1 seed in the East) continued their impressive season, knocking off previously undefeated West Jackson (4-1), 42-16. The Lions will look to wrap up a perfect regular season next week versus Riverwatch.

South Forsyth (5-1, #2 seed in the East) picked up their second non-divisional win over Vickery Creek (0-6) this year, 39-14. The two teams met in Week 1 with a similar result. The Eagles won that game 48-15.

Liberty (4-2, tied for 2nd place in the West) defeated Riverwatch (2-4), 47-20. The Patriots only losses on the season are to both #1 seeds in the playoffs (vs North Forsyth 12-34 and vs Lakeside 22-34).

DeSana (3-3) has set themselves up to possibly finish the season with winning record after notching a win over Piney Grove (2-5), 24-12. Despite the loss, the Grizzlies finish their season in the 3rd spot in the East Division.
