Week 3 Review
Week 3 wrapped up Thursday night, closing out five full gamedays across Forsyth County. At this point in the season, only three teams remain undefeated, with several squads already hitting the midway mark of their schedules. The most dominant so far is Little Mill’s 7th-grade team — the lone unbeaten group in that division — rolling with an average win margin of 30.0 points. In 8th grade, the two remaining undefeated teams, Hendricks and South Forsyth, continue to look every bit like championship frontrunners. The pair appears to be on a collision course for a postseason rematch.
7th Grade: Little Mill Leads the Way
Four teams have created separation in the 7th-grade standings.
Little Mill (5–0) sits comfortably on top with dominant victories in all five games. Their “closest” contest was a 20-point win over Vickery Creek in Week 1.
Right behind them are Hendricks (4–1), Vickery Creek (4–1), and Lakeside (3–1) — all owning just one loss. Vickery Creek’s and Lakeside’s defeats have both come against Little Mill, while Hendricks’ lone setback was a Week 2 loss to Lakeside.
Just outside that top group, Riverwatch (3–2) and South Forsyth (3–2) remain in the mix. Riverwatch has dropped two straight after a strong start, while South Forsyth is trending upward with consecutive victories.
8th Grade: Last Year's Championship Duo Still on Top
Hendricks and South Forsyth remain the class of the division, both undefeated and once again dominating the league. Each team is winning by more than 22 points per game and they rank first and second in both scoring offense and scoring defense. South Forsyth leads the league in scoring at 48.4 points per game, while Hendricks boasts the top defense, allowing just 20.4 points per game.
Chasing the two undefeated leaders:
North Forsyth's (3–1) only loss came in their most recent outing — a 30-point setback to South Forsyth that highlighted the current gap between the top two and the rest of the field.
Vickery Creek (3–2) is the only other team with at least three wins, and the Vipers have been in tight battles all season with all but one of their games decided by single digits.

Little Mill (48) @ Lakeside (19)
Little Mill (5–0) continued its dominant start to the season with another lopsided victory, rolling past previously undefeated Lakeside (3–1), 48–19.
As they have all season, the Mustangs set the tone early, jumping out to a first-quarter lead behind strong shooting and suffocating defense. Lakeside managed to stay within reach early by converting four free throws, but Little Mill began to separate in the second quarter. That disparity sent Little Mill into halftime with a commanding 15-point advantage.

Lakeside, playing with a limited bench, had three players reach the scoring column, with seven of its first-half points coming at the free-throw line. Ruby Constantino and Kagan Morris each knocked down three free throws and added a field goal to share the team lead with five points apiece.
The third quarter belonged entirely to Little Mill, as the Mustangs knocked down three three-pointers to fuel another double-digit scoring period and extend their lead to a commanding 42–15. With the outcome all but decided, scoring was limited in the final quarter as Little Mill comfortably cruised to the finish and yet another convincing victory.
Olivia Foulke capped off a strong performance with three two-point field goals and three three-pointers, finishing with a game-high 15 points. Madi Shirley was held scoreless in the second half but still ended the night as the Mustangs’ second-leading scorer.
