2025 Forsyth County Middle School Football Week 6

Week 1 was originally slated to feature non-divisional matchups, giving teams a chance to test themselves outside of their own division right out of the gate. But when severe weather rolled through Forsyth County, every game was wiped off the schedule, leaving players, coaches, and fans without an early-season measuring stick. Instead, the season jumped straight into four weeks of divisional battles that locked in the playoff field far earlier than expected.

Now, with those races decided, Week 6 and Week 7 finally bring the first — and only — stretch of non-divisional action this season. For teams that missed out on the playoffs, these games are all about pride and finishing strong against fresh opponents. Meanwhile, the playoff-bound squads view this two-week window as a tune-up opportunity, a chance to iron out mistakes, build momentum, and enter the postseason sharper than ever.

Vickery Creek, which clinched the No. 1 seed in the West, will not be in action this week as they head into their bye. The Vipers get a timely break to celebrate that accomplishment while turning their focus toward preparing for a playoff run.

After this week, schools head into fall break, meaning no games will be played next week. This pause serves as an extra bye week for all teams, giving players and coaches valuable time to rest, recover, and fine-tune their strategies before the regular season resumes.
