2025 Forsyth County Middle School Football Week 6 Recap
Week 6 offered a change of pace in Forsyth County football, as the season shifted away from division play for a set of non-division showdowns. With playoff spots already locked up for four teams, the games carried less weight in the standings but still provided a valuable tune-up opportunity before the postseason. For others, it was a chance to build momentum, measure progress, and grab a late-season win against a fresh opponent.
The playoff contenders wasted no time reminding everyone why they’re at the top. Three of the four teams (DeSana, North Forsyth, and South Forsyth) who have already secured their postseason spots were in action, and they rolled to convincing victories, outscoring their opponents by a combined 120-27 — an average margin of 40-9. The wins reinforced just how sharp the county’s elite squads are as October approaches.
These contests also marked the final action before schools head into fall break. When play resumes, only seven county teams will take the field, as four programs will benefit from what essentially amounts to a double bye. That pause makes the upcoming stretch run even more critical, with seeding, rivalries, and postseason momentum all still on the line.
