2025 Forsyth County Middle School Football Week 7

After a week off for fall break, Forsyth County middle school football returns with another slate of non-divisional matchups. With the West Division on its “super bye,” four county squads are idle, leaving just two West teams — Little Mill and Vickery Creek — in action.

Three playoff-bound programs will take the field: Vickery Creek from the West, along with DeSana and South Forsyth from the East. Lakeside, meanwhile, travels outside the county to Hoschton, GA, to renew its home-and-away series with West Jackson.

With only two weeks remaining in the regular season, playoff-bound teams aim to stay sharp for the postseason, while those out of contention hope to close their campaigns on a positive note.

Matchups

DeSana and Piney Grove meet again in a rematch of their Week 2 clash, when the Dragons pulled away for a 26-8 victory that ignited their playoff run. Piney Grove will try to flip the script this time around, while DeSana looks to maintain its momentum with the postseason fast approaching.

Vickery Creek and Riverwatch face off with both teams heading in opposite directions. The Vipers aim to build on their early-season success and maintain momentum heading into the playoffs, while the Panthers are still searching for their first win of the season.

South Forsyth and Little Mill meet with contrasting stakes. Both reached the playoffs last season, but only South Forsyth returns this year, as the Mustangs just missed out. The Eagles aim to stay on track, while Little Mill looks to finish with momentum.

Lakeside travels to Hoschton, GA, to face West Jackson. Last year, the Lions went into this matchup with a playoff spot already secured and rolled to a 42-16 win. This time around, Lakeside just missed out on the postseason but will look to pick up another win in the home-and-home series.
